The Ceremony
The ceremony will take place at the Igreja de São Francisco de Paula at 2:30 PM on November 21, 2026.
We chose the Igreja de São Francisco de Paula, in the heart of Rio, to celebrate our "I do" in the presence of God. Officially inaugurated by Dom Pedro II in 1865, the church holds centuries of faith, and it is there that we wish to eternalize our love beside those we cherish.
How to get to Rio
We want your trip to us to be as smooth as possible!
Here are some tips to help you plan:
BY PLANE: Rio de Janeiro has two airports:
Tom Jobim International Airport – Galeão (GIG)
It receives domestic and international flights. It is approximately 40 minutes from the city center and Santa Teresa.
Santos Dumont Airport (SDU)
Located in downtown Rio, it's the closest option to wedding venues (about 15 minutes). It handles domestic flights.
BY CAR: For those coming from nearby cities, the main access highways are BR-116 (Via Dutra), coming from São Paulo, and BR-040, coming from Belo Horizonte and Brasília.
BY BUS: Novo Rio Bus Terminal is the city's main bus station. It's about 15 minutes from the city center.
Transportation
So that everyone can celebrate with peace of mind and safety, we suggest our van transportation service, which will depart from meeting points in strategic areas of Rio. The locations and times will be announced later. Confirming your presence on the vans will be essential so we can organize everything with care.
You can also choose to share rides with other guests, a great alternative for those who want more flexibility.
For those who already know Rio well and feel comfortable driving around the city, using your own car is also an option.
Both the Church and Mansão Alvite have parking available on site.
Dress Code
Women : light and elegant dresses in flowing fabrics.
Men: suit, tie optional.
We kindly ask that you avoid shades of white, off-white, or very light colors.
Gifts
Your presence is, without a doubt, the greatest gift we could receive.
That's why we've decided not to have a gift registry.
If you'd still like to give us a gift, we kindly ask that the contribution be made to the Companhia das Filhas de Caridade de São Vicente de Paulo (Company of the Daughters of Charity of Saint Vincent de Paul), which does beautiful work supporting those most in need.
